The jungle of life!

The deep dark jungles of nothingness,
Where trees sway loud when winds whistle by,
And the ground is a black sea with endless possibilities,
Upon which rains liven up everything, for life to strive and flourish.

Life is that and many a times more,
Umpteen possibilities and unexpected turns,
Never ending surprises with  heart wrenching churns,
The machine of life is relentless, its tale; a lore!

Darkest corners here, brightest shafts of light there,
Lurking black waters and comforting green canopies
Serpentine rivulets with many a deadly frights
Ah,life! A jungle of thoughts, a chaos of symphonies.

Marine Musings- A short story

pic from photography.about.com Sitting on the paved fence at marine drive promenade, looking at the waves striking the rocks and bouncing off, I wondered if there is any meaning to all this, to the unending water, to the blending of the sky into the sea, to the rocks which protect the city and wear themselves apart and to me sitting here, watching all this, when I should actually be back home. It was not for the first time that I was wondering about the underlying meaning and purpose behind all things that people generally are too busy to think about. Maybe, I am too lazy to be busy doing things that everyone does or maybe I am just a fool dabbling in mindless exercises. Nonetheless, my thoughts wandered way beyond the seas, the skies and the rocks. leaf and life!

the dried leaf when it falls, in the autumn, on the rocks, it flies and dances in the mid-air it looks around and settles far or near... the winds it may take it away a thousand moves, the leaf will display not for a moment will it regret the past life, on the old tree,by the rivulet.. the water there made a sweet music and the drops tingled him in his sleep he,sure, will remember the beautiful past but he will make memories new,and those too will last!
