fantasy of a fanatic ( or death of a doll)

First, a loud damning bang, Then, a screaming silence, Dreams, peace and a doll fly away; While the little lifeless girl lay! The markets lie draped in blood, The airports still shake in shock, Deathly echoes haunt the masjids, While hospitals swell, try and give up. Naked false truths dance and revel, In a blood red pool of ignorance, And a ravishing rave party ensues; While gun wielding teens guard morality. “And [know that] God invites [man] unto the abode of peace…” “..let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice.” And all of God's verses; they drown and fade away, Behind the conceited smokescreen of red and grey.

Buzzing Biz

As every book lover would know, once in a while you stumble across a book that you can't stop talking about. You simply have to tell about it to everybody you meet and needless to say, most people, to put it mildly, won't share your excitement! To save myself a few glares and curt responses, I would rather give a shout out here itself. The jungle of life!

The deep dark jungles of nothingness, Where trees sway loud when winds whistle by, And the ground is a black sea with endless possibilities, Upon which rains liven up everything, for life to strive and flourish. Life is that and many a times more, Umpteen possibilities and unexpected turns, Never ending surprises with  heart wrenching churns, The machine of life is relentless, its tale; a lore! Darkest corners here, brightest shafts of light there, Lurking black waters and comforting green canopies Serpentine rivulets with many a deadly frights Ah,life! A jungle of thoughts, a chaos of symphonies.

Words, Etched Forever

Plethora of words like a gush of blowing wind pick me up in times of despair and make me float And I, like a dried leaf dance on the breeze uplifted and ecstatic; words are all that I need. Each one being a glitter in the night sky against the darkness of my gloom they light up the firmament of my life burning, smoldering bursting with light. Take me far away and unto the peripheries away from the dreary everyday monotony for only you can touch the depths of my heart only words can weave the magic that I yearn. In the wry smile of a forlorn lover In the softly falling silent snow In the lush spring bloom of a meadow All I see are words, etched forever,
