love & distance


The depression that has set in
The sadness that ruins my brain
I cannot wait to get it off
Cannot wait to live again!

For the flowers, all now seem grey
And the sky is always dark
For the rains never touch me like they did
My heart and me seem miles apart!

The water’s all gone black
I really now want you back
The times you are away and not here
It seems all’s a lie and nothing’s fair!

Marine Musings- A short story

pic from photography.about.com Sitting on the paved fence at marine drive promenade, looking at the waves striking the rocks and bouncing off, I wondered if there is any meaning to all this, to the unending water, to the blending of the sky into the sea, to the rocks which protect the city and wear themselves apart and to me sitting here, watching all this, when I should actually be back home. It was not for the first time that I was wondering about the underlying meaning and purpose behind all things that people generally are too busy to think about. Maybe, I am too lazy to be busy doing things that everyone does or maybe I am just a fool dabbling in mindless exercises. the dried leaf when it falls, in the autumn, on the rocks, it flies and dances in the mid-air it looks around and settles far or near... the winds it may take it away a thousand moves, the leaf will display not for a moment will it regret the past life, on the old tree,by the rivulet.. the water there made a sweet music and the drops tingled him in his sleep he,sure, will remember the beautiful past but he will make memories new,and those too will last!
